A visit to Britain’s “hottest garden”

Claiming to be Britain’s “hottest garden”, with a microclimate some 5°C warmer than the mainland, Ventnor Botanic Garden played host to our annual garden visit.., and certainly lived up to its reputation. Propagating Flowers for Summer

Open Gardens Totals

The total raised by Woodgreen Open Gardens was £2,404.25. When this is added to the money we raised in Hale - £1,882 – we have a grand total of £4,286.25. After a few expenses have been deducted we should still have about £4,000 to distribute to our charities. Well done everyone. Ticket sales for Woodgreen were down from 2015 - £1,901 as opposed to £2,401 – but, because Hale had a really good day, our total this year ...

A great day out at Hale Open Gardens… so much better than Chelsea!

Sunday, 21st May proved to be one of our best Hale open gardens events ever, and not only because the sun shone kindly on members and visitors alike.
